Event Details

Sid G – Sid was on the scene when Sandra’s Wedding first started as a band. Over the past ten years he has welcomed them to more gigs than we can count. An early champion of the band they are so happy he can be part of their ten year celebration. Sid plays originals as well as covers and is well known on the local scene.

Sandra’s Wedding – Sandra’s Wedding have been praised as ‘jangle-pop perfection’ and their music has been hand-picked by poet Laureate Simon Armitage for airplay on BBC 6Music. An original piece by the band was commissioned by BBC television to feature on the hit comedy Alma’s Not Normal and they have recently collaborated with the internationally renowned composer Gavin Bryars, as well as Tim Crooks of the Royal Northern Sinfonia. The best part? They’re from Goole.

That’s right. Like the Spurn lightship and Burton’s suits, Sandra’s Wedding were made in Goole and the 20th June 2026 will mark ten years since the band released their first ever single. To mark that milestone, Sandra’s Wedding are coming home to Goole Market Hall for a celebration of their music and the loyal community that has built up around the band over the past decade.

Since 2016 the band have released six full length albums, several EPs and singles so expect an eclectic mix of their original songs interwoven with witty observations and asides made between absolutely huge gulps of crisp Golden Eagle Pilsner. Come along to enjoy local, original music and support a local act who are proud of where they come from. The band will be preparing some special merchandise and mementos to mark the weekend so don’t miss out. You can hear Sandra’s Wedding on all streaming platforms so give them a listen if you haven’t already.

This ain’t Hollywood. It’s a former shipbuilding town.

Cameron Hindle – Cameron was a fixture at early Sandra’s Wedding gigs and since then he has carved his own niche as one of the best local vocalists and songwriters in his own right. Bringing everything full circle, Cameron plays his own original material and is also adept to play the odd crowd pleaser.
